Results of extensive research have found that students’ ability to concentrate and learn in school are related to the amount and quality of sleep and rest they obtain. Unfortunately, a sizeable percentage of families in the Golden Triangle do not have beds for their children. The Local Learning Community Foundation partnered with the Dream Center to provide nearly a half dozen beds to children under eighteen to help increase their amount of sleep, rest, and test scores.
