The L2CF collaborated with Ms. Smith Educational Services and co-sponsored an onine Speech and Math competition.

Through a rigorous application and screening process, ten area future scholars were awarded travel scholarships which included tours of multiple colleges and universities.

The L2CF partnered with the Starkville-Oktibbeha My Brother’s Keeper Challenge (MBKC), and the MSU-Council on Minority Affairs (COMA) to help coordinate and sponsor an eight-week seminar to help student retain academic standings over the summer break.

In collaboration with the MSU-Council on Minority Affairs, and Empathic Solutions Group, LLC, the L2CF coordinated the 2018 BullyStoppers Training Workshop designed to empower students with the knowledge and skills to combat bullying.

The L2CF collaborated with Sisters Arm in Arm to sponsor a learning expedition that included tours of both the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum and Jackson State University, on February 16, 2019.

The Local Learning Community Foundation helped to stimulate awareness and interest in the Smithsonian Institution History of Waterways interactive learning exhibit that was housed at the Tennessee Tombigbee Transportation Waterway Museum in Columbus, Mississippi on Saturday, March 2, 2019.

The L2CF partnered with Ms. Smith Education Services to provide after-school homework assistance, tutoring, and character development programs.
